Hi, I'm Ed. More commonly known as David Edlin.

I live in Taradale, which is a "leafy suburb" in the city of Napier. Napier is by my reckoning the nicest city in New Zealand, which in turn is the best country on earth to be living in. All I need from here is to find the best house in the best street and somehow I might have found paradise itself.

I enjoy working with photo graphics, as you might be able to tell from my picture gallery. I am a certified Photoshop guru, and am also fluent in 21 other desktop applications. I'm never far from my computer.

I work as a Tertiary Training Developer, creating courseware and resources for a number of business schools (www.qea.co.nz) up and down the country. I work from home, so my hours and days of work are extremely flexible, and my work conditions are relaxed. Extremely relaxed.

My living room is a luxury mini home-cinema, with big-screen TV, sound-surround, reclining swivel-rockers and a nice stereo, and there are over 200 movies in my collection.

The other passion is music. You name it, I have it. Favourite old song from the past 50 years? Got it here! Among thousands of albums, and virtually every hit single to make the Top 40 during the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, I am never without music playing while I work... or play.

And I've been a recording artist myself in times not too long past. I'll upload some of my past singles on here for you to sample in time. In the meantime, I've included my "Soul Surgeon Party Mix" as a sample of my musical talents. More to come soon...
